Reno County forgoes primary elections
June 6, 2025

Reno County will skip primary elections this year and proceed directly to the November general election after no races met the threshold for a primary contest.
The Reno County Clerk's Office confirmed Tuesday that insufficient candidates filed for races following the June 2 candidate filing deadline, eliminating the need for primary elections in 2025.
Voters will head to the polls for the general election on Nov. 4, 2025. The county clerk's office is available at 620-694-2934 for questions about candidate filings and election information.
Additional details about the upcoming general election are available at www.renocountyks.gov/Elections.
