At 20, Andy Grove escaped from Hungary during the 1956 revolution and moved to the US. He was the third employee and eventual CEO of Intel, which he transformed into the world's largest semiconductor company. In 1997, Time chose him as "Man of the Year", for being "the person most responsible for the amazing growth…potential of microchips."
