McPherson extended their winning streak to six games on Tuesday with a 64-26 victory over the Winfield Vikings. The win wasn't a major surprise given McPherson's #22 ranking in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball standings compared to Winfield's #150 spot, and it continued their dominant run during which they've outscored opponents by an average of 26.6 points. The victory improved McPherson's record to 7-1, while Winfield fell to 4-4 and saw their three-game home winning streak come to an end.

Girls

McPherson secured their most significant win since February 27, 2024, with a commanding 51-24 victory over the Winfield Vikings on Tuesday, extending their dominance from their previous matchup. The win improved McPherson's record to 3-5, while Winfield's struggles continued as they extended their losing streak to 13 games dating back to last season, leaving them at 0-8.
