The McPherson Bullpups boys' basketball team delivered a commanding performance Tuesday night, defeating the Buhler Crusaders 70-30 in the Roundhouse. McPherson set the tone early with suffocating defense and efficient transition offense, building a double-digit lead in the first quarter and never looking back. Jett Pyle led the way with key drives and free throws, while Bishop Brown and Brenden Doile contributed to a balanced scoring attack. Buhler struggled to generate consistent offense against McPherson’s relentless pressure, with turnovers repeatedly turning into easy points for the Bullpups. The win improves McPherson to 4-1 on the season as they prepare for upcoming games against Circle and in a Kansas City showcase against Bishop Miege.
