HUTCHINSON, KS - The McPherson Bullpups boys golf team competed against a crowded field Thursday at the prestigious Rusty Hilst Invitational held at Carey Park. Facing 170 players from 31 teams across the state, the Bullpups finished 20th overall with a team score of 347, while Overland Park Blue Valley North claimed the tournament victory with an impressive 288.

Junior Teigan Younger led the way for McPherson, carding an 80 to tie for 48th place in the competitive field. Sophomore Cole Cooper followed closely with an 85, tying for 85th place. Other Bullpup competitors included sophomore Hudson Krehbiel, junior Paxton Ingles, and junior Kameron Buckbee. The team will look to build on this experience when they return to action this Thursday in Winfield.
