The Hutchinson High School Salthawk baseball team faced off against the Valley Center High School Hornets on Friday, April 11, 2025. The Salthawks were on the short end of the score, losing 8 - 11. 

Senior catcher #3, Carter Morgan, slid safely into third base during the opening game of a doubleheader against the Valley Center High School Hornets, played on April 11, 2025. The Hornets won the game 11-8.

Senior catcher #3 Carter Morgan kicked off the game with a triple.  Junior infielder #1 Julian Lyons then drove Morgan home with a fielder's choice. 

Senior infielder Cole Bleything contributed in the fifth inning with two RBIs, hitting a triple.

Senior pitcher #8 Jack Davis started the game and completed five innings.
